Bombardier DHC-8 100/200/300 (PWC PW120) Refresher Theory
This non-Part 147 course is designed for aircraft maintenance engineers to provides an overview on all aspects of the aircrafts, Airframe/Power-plant/Electrical Systems and Avionics System, delivered to ATA specification 104 level 1. The training materials used are based on manufacturer supplied documents and are supplemented by other documents such as maintenance manuals, Service Bulletins (SBs) and Airworthiness Directives (ADs).

Format |
The theory training is delivered by experienced maintenance engineers in a classroom environment (real or virtual) in English using modern delivery techniques. An individual copy of the training material is provided in digital format. The standard training programme is based on 6 hours of instruction per day with appropriate breaks.

This Course Provides:
- A brief overview of the airframe, systems and powerplant as outlined in the Systems Description Section of the Aircraft Maintenance Manual/Instructions for Continued Airworthiness.
- Provide a simple description of the whole subject, using common words and examples, using typical terms and identify safety precautions related to the airframe, its systems and powerplant.
- Identify aircraft manuals, maintenance practices important to the airframe, its systems and powerplant.
- Define the general layout of the aircraft's major systems.
- Define the general layout and characteristics of the powerplant.
- Identify special tooling and test equipment used with the aircraft.
