Airbus A319/A320/A321 (V2500) B2 Diffs Practical
This EASA Part 147 approved course is designed for aircraft maintenance engineers to meet the standard of knowledge required to perform the duties of a B1/B2 certifying engineer and to apply for appropriate company approvals for Airbus A318/A319/A320/A321 (V2500) B2 Differences Practical over 2 days. It assumes prior approval for the B1 elements.

Format |
Practical training is a structured training event which consolidates the knowledge gained during the theoretical phase of type training by completion of an approved list of training tasks based upon the requirements defined in the EASA Part 66 regulations and CAP1529. The training is recorded in a logbook and the methodology can include Classroom Exercises, Practical Tasks, Practical Demonstration, and Simulation.A significant portion of this training is conducted in a real maintenance environment/ on aircraft. |
Evaluation |
Practical Training Assessment
Each student is to be assessed to a minimum of one assessment. This assessment will verify that the theoretical and practical elements of the training process have been absorbed and understood. It will gauge whether the student has attained a level of competence that enables safe maintenance activities on that aircraft type and will cover Knowledge, Skills and Attitude.
A certificate of recognition will be issued at the end of each course to each student who has satisfactorily completed the course and has passed all the examinations/assessments. |
Objectives |
This course provides:
- A detailed knowledge of the aircraft’s systems, major components and locations, their operations, functions as well as the appropriate maintenance and troubleshooting methods.
- A working knowledge of the aircraft’s maintenance manuals and technical documentation.
- An understanding of common maintenance practices and procedures prescribed in the AMM.
- The knowledge to perform system monitoring and operational tests IAW the aircraft’s technical documentation.
- Insight into the common snags experienced during maintenance events and how to prevent them.
